Eco Spindles (Private) Limited took part in the World Ocean Day 2025 national event at Port City Beach, organized by the Marine Environment Protection Authority (MEPA) in collaboration with the Ministry of Environment and key partners.

As a driving force in Sri Lanka’s recycling industry, Eco Spindles demonstrated how recycled plastic can be transformed into sustainable solutions with real impact. The company’s exhibition stall featured a range of eco‑friendly products, including its signature Eco Oceanic Yarn, developed to support ocean conservation and reduce marine plastic pollution.

Through this platform, Eco Spindles raised awareness of the urgent challenges posed by marine plastic waste, highlighted its innovative yarns made from recycled PET bottles, and reinforced its long‑term commitment to protecting oceans while securing a greener future for Sri Lanka.
